Inspection Visits
We would like your inspection visit to be an enjoyable and important part of the process of buying your foreign property and we will do our utmost to ensure your comfort at all times. We understand that some people may be nervous about being in an unfamiliar area and with guides they may have only just met but we are confident that our representatives will allay any concerns very quickly.
You will receive a personal tour in an air-conditioned car, with your own guide who will accompany you for the duration of your stay. In Portugal, we would normally reccomend a three day inspection tour and for Cyprus a five day visit should give you adequate time for property viewings and a comprehensive tour of the areas of interest. The inspection of appropriate properties will be interspersed with regular comfort stops and for refreshments at local cafes or restaurants. Your guide will also stop at areas of interest including local markets, villages, harbours and beaches where you will be able to savour the atmosphere and ambience of the area.
What we Provide:
We will provide free transport throughout your inspection visit. This will include transfers to and from your airport of entry, accompanied tours of the area and transport to and from your evening restaurant meals.
What we do not provide:
With the exception of the above, we do not subsidise the cost of your inspection visit at all. There are two reasons for this :
- It ensures that the guests who choose to come on an inspection visit with us have a genuine interest and a desire to buy.
- Since we are not treating the inspection visits as a loss leader, we have no need or desire to recoup our costs by pressuring our guests into a purchase. We would much prefer that you make your own decision to buy, when you are ready.
If you decide to go ahead with a purchase through us, we will re-imburse inspection visit costs for flights and hotel accommodation up to a maximum of £250 per person. *Terms and conditions apply.

*Terms and conditions : Re-imbursement of inspection visit costs will be made once contracts have been signed and once the full deposit has been received by the property developer. Receipts or proof of your expenditure will have to be provided to Carnival Investment Properties Limited before re-imbursement is made.
